Cong candidate booked, BSP workers held with liquor

Two BSP workers have been held for allegedly trying to lure voters by distributing liquor in Alipur area of north-West Delhi, while Congress candidate Sushil Kumar Gupta has been booked on charges of holding an illegal political meeting at a banquet hall.
Congress MLA Amrish Singh Gautam has also come under the scanner as his photographs were found pasted on the doors of one Malhotra Properties Office, from where four cartons of liquor were seized by a team of flying squad teams on Monday.
‘No direct link has been found with Gautam’s picture and the seized cartons. Probe is on,’ said Ankur Garg, Chief Nodal Officer, Model code of Conduct.
