Condition of Badri, Kedar highways still deplorable: BJP

‘Badrinath and Kedarnath highways are still in bad shape. From Lambagarh (Chamoli), the roads have disappeared at many points and recurring landslides are adding woes to the localites. One can reach only up to Sonprayag at Kedarnath highway by using motorvehicle. The state government is in confused state whether to assign BRO or PWD department to repair roads from Rishikesh upwards journey,’ Pauri MP and former CM  BC Khanduri said in a press conference held at BJP state head-office here on Monday. He was on a week tour to his parliamentary constituency to meet people there and hear their problems and grievances. On Sunday, he reached state capital and shared his experiences with state CM Harish Rawat.
