Con man swaps ATM card, steals Rs 85,000

A case has been registered against unknown persons for a daring ATM theft which took place in a PNB ATM kiosk on Thursday. The victim has been identified as Umesh Singh, a resident of sector-44 Noida and an electrical contractor by profession. Umesh Singh had visited a Punjab National Bank ATM, where a bystander offered to help him, seeing he was having trouble with the card, but changed it with another. He later withdrew Rs 85,000 from the account.
