Company secy institute forms Trust for poor students

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has created a trust, viz ICSI Students Education Fund Trust, to fund underprivileged students. ICSI President C S Nesar Ahmad informed that the ICSI Council hasĀ  revised the criteria of financial assistance to economically backward and academically bright students through the Trust.

The revised criteria will cater to large number of prospective students/ CS Students and provide financial assistance. Eligible students will be fully exempted from paying registration/ admission fees, postal tuition fees, exemption fees and other fees payable at the time of admission to the Foundation/ Executive programmes.

Depending on their performance in the Company Secretaries examinations, the students may also be exempted from payment of examination fee and also the fees payable at the time of admission to the executive programme and professional programme.
