Community centre to come up in Shahdara

Mayor of East Delhi Municipal Corporation, Meenakshi, laid the foundation stone of the community centre in Shahdara (South) at Tejab Mill, Bhola Nath Nagar.

Member of Parliament (MP) from East Delhi, Maheish Girri, also attended the function.

Speaking on this occasion, Girri said that the East Corporation is trying to provide maximum possible civic amenities to its citizens by developing its own resources.

Mayor of the EDMC said that the Corporation is making all the efforts to provide qualitative civic services in a simpler manner at the doorsteps of the citizens.

She further said that the community centre at such a congested area would certainly be a boon for
the citizens.

The area councillor, Balbir Singh, informed that the community centre would be developed in an area of 844.98 square metres with an approximate cost of Rs 242.55 lakh within a period of 12 months.
