The strokes of the East brought the audience glimpses from the Eastern region of India. The art collection spans the spontaneity of abstract, the immersive layers of Indian contemporary, the myriad colours of traditional and dynamism of modern art.
Sangeeta Kapri set up her art gallery a couple of years ago to give a platform to the emerging, undiscovered and talented artists of India. Sangeeta K’s art gallery is the new face of grassroots based art collectors, motivated by the social welfare of artists, the gallery acts as a platform for those who do not have access to mainstream art galleries and are left behind to showcase their art.
According to Sangeeta Kapri, “A painting is known for weaving different stories from different tradition and dynamism of art and culture. We believe in bringing together the emerging, undiscovered and talented artists across India.”
The artists participating in the exhibition are Biswajeet, Kapil Kumar, Karuna Priya, Kishore Chand, Kishore Roy, Mukesh Mandal, Nityanand Sahu, Sachin Sawant, Sanjay Yadav and Taapas Maiti.
