When did you start painting? Tell us a bit about your childhood.
I have been painting throughout my life but professionally I started in the year 2008 in Mumbai when I got introduced to a group of artists. They inspired me, I learned a lot from them and did lot of work together.
Since childhood I have been a very emotional and sensitive person. Colours, nature, beauty and art always fascinated me. My journey of art has been very abstract. I learned from different places, different people and experimented a lot on my own.
As a child my dream was to become a
Doctor and serve humanity. Who knew that my artistic bend of mind will lead me to the world of art.
What themes do you work on mostly and how do you choose those themes?
For me everything around me is a theme to work on and I pick up whatever touches my heart.
Do you try to incorporate social issues in to what you paint?
So far I have not painted on social issues but yes this is my goal in near future to paint on various issues like condition of modern woman in our current society,
contrast between hype of today's shallow life and reality and lots more.
What are your mediums of choice when it comes to creating art?
I love to work with oil colors on canvas or create Murals with clay and relief work.
