Cold days lie ahead as temperature will fall further in the coming week due to snowfall in Himalayan region, predicted weathermen on Friday.
‘Maximum temperature will fall by around two degrees Celsius and minimum may plunge by five degrees Celsius by next Thursday,’ said a senior official of Regional Meteorological Centre. ‘Shallow fog may also appear in the morning,’ he added. According to the records, maximum temperature on Friday was 22.8 degrees Celsius, which was close to normal, but minimum temperature was 13.2 degrees Celsius which was five degrees higher than normal temperature.
