Co-pilot robbed off his Audi

A co-pilot with a private airlines company was robbed of his Audi car by four men at south-west Delhi’s Dwarka area on the intervening night between Monday and Tuesday.
The accused – Baljit Singh (40), Suraj Sharma (25) and two juveniles – were arrested immediately by a PCR team who attended the call. From their possession, the police recovered the Audi and a Maruti Suzuki Ritz and a motorbike as well. All of them later turned out to be stolen vehicles, said a police official.
The cops also recovered a pistol from their possession.
According to the police, the complainant had left from the Indira Gandhi International Airport and was driving towards his residence in Gurgaon through Dwarka area.
On a traffic signal, he was intercepted by four persons who approached in the Ritz and the motorcycle. One of them pulled out a country made pistol and robbed the complainant, Shashank Gupta, of his Audi car.
He called up the police control room immediately and reported the incident. Later, all four of them were held after a long chase, the police official added.
