CM visits family members of 9-yr-old killed by DTC bus in Narela

The Aam Aadmi Party tweeted that Kejriwal spent time with the family and shared their pain over the tragedy. The incident took place at around 8 pm on Friday when Yuvraj (9), was returning home with his brother Tushar and they were allegedly hit by a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus.
According to the police, the incident took place at around 8 pm on Friday when 14-year-old Tushar was riding his motorcycle while nine-year old Yuvraj was riding pillion. The DTC bus was coming from the wrong side of the Ramdev Chowk of Narela area and collided with the vehicle.
Locals claimed that the driver of the DTC bus tried to flee but was held by them and handed over to the police.
Meanwhile, both the boys were rushed to a nearby hospital where Yuvraj was declared brought dead while Tushar is battling for his life.
“We have detained the driver and will make the arrest in the morning,” said Vikramjit Singh, DCP (Outer).
A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against the DTC bus driver at the Narela police station. Further investigation is underway.
