CM inaugurates laying of PNG pipelines

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Thursday inaugurated the work for laying of piped natural gas (PNG) pipelines in Lady Hardinge Medical College Colony near Panchkuian Road.
Speaking on the occasion, Dikshit said PNG supply is a continuous source of energy for kitchens and it is safe as well as cheaper than LPG. The supply of PNG is reliable and hassle-free, as customers don’t need to wait for the cylinders to be delivered. She expressed hope that the supply would start at the earliest, as the laying of pipelines is being taken up on war-footing.
