Raining biting attack over the Delhi Chief Minister for his refusal to release the due share of funds to the Municipal Corporations of Delhi, BJP leader Jagdish Mukhi said that Kejriwal is adopting double standards regarding the release of funds by the Central Government and by the Delhi government.
“Kejriwal should immediately release the share of the Corporations in the government’s revenue as per the recommendations of the Finance Commission of Delhi. It is mandatory for the government to release funds to civic bodies,” said the BJP leader.
He also said it was ridiculous on the part of the Deputy CM to say that he will stop wasteful expenditure. He has reduced the planned money by Rs 1,350 crore and increased the non-planned money by Rs 2,684 crores in the ‘Vote on Account’ presented .
