CM addresses rally at Bindapur, unveils progress package

Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit on Sunday stated that with the introduction of Delhi Metro and AC buses in the capital city passengers have been enjoying comfortable commute. ‘It is time to improve the mode of public transport in the congested localities. The government has decided to introduce Mono Rail for this purpose with an aim to supplement the services of Delhi Metro on a demand to introduce Mono Rail from Bindapur.’ said Dikshit while speaking at a rally in Bindapur. Dikshit stated that Bindapur would be included in the ongoing survey for introduction of Mono Rail in Mohan Garden localities since it is easy and less expensive to lay Mono Rail Lines in congested localities.

The Chief Minister addressed a large Vikas Rally at Bindapur on Sunday which was attended by 50000 people. She also opened a Coffee House constructed with an amount of Rs. two crores, initiated work on the construction of a multistorey, air conditioned community hall at a cost of Rs. six crores and the laying of sewer lines at the cost of Rs. 36 crores. She stated that Delhi is the only state where 24 x 7 power supply is being ensured and the tariff is less than all other Metro and neighbouring cities.  She advised the opposition including BJP and AAP to desist from giving political colour to power issues since the consumers are feeling satisfied at large in the city.

Dikshit stated that west Delhi could also be developed on the lines of New Delhi, south Delhi and east Delhi. Dikshit stated that all the resolutions moved by Parliamentary Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mukesh Sharma, and demands raised by him are worth immediate implementation. She stated that her government would widen the roads from Dwarka to Bindapur and construct a DTC Terminal at Bindapur.
