Chennai Super Kings and Lahore Lions were left disappointed after their Group A match of the Oppo Champions League Twenty20 was washed off without a single ball being bowled at the M Chinnaswamy stadium, here on Thursday. With incessant rains coupled with lightening and thunders lashing the city, the field was kept under cover right from the start and even the toss could not happen.
The umpires had initially decided to take stock of the situation later but continuous rains forced the officials and authorities to call off the match with the ground flooded with water.
