Clear day greets Delhi on Monday

The national capital witnessed on Monday a clear day with maximum temperature rising to 23.7 degree C.
There was a slight chill and mist in the morning as minimum temperature dropped two degrees below normal for this time of the season at 8.5 degree C but as the day progressed things started to ease up with the sun shining brightly.
The Met department has predicted mist and shallow fog in the morning tomorrow and the maximum and minimum temperature would be around 24 and 8 degrees respectively. The day is expected to begin with a clear sky but it may turn partly cloudy by evening.
