Class 12 student shot dead by classmate

A class 12 student of Rohini was allegedly shot dead by one of his classmates, with the help of his two associates at Murthal in Haryana on late Sunday night. On Tuesday, the three accused were apprehended from Pitam Pura.
On 11 October, Shiva (18) was asked by a friend to join him and his friends Varun Jindal (19) and Parth (19) for dinner. Soon after that, they moved to a secluded location where Shiva was allegedly shot. His body was later burnt by the accused.
A missing report was filed by Shiva’s parents and police started investigating the case. Soon they came to know about the accused, and all three of them were apprehended from their residences in northeast Delhi’s Pitam Pura, on Tuesday, said Vikramjit Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer).
‘After further investigations, it emerged that the juvenile — who was a friend and classmate of the victim — was the mastermind behind the whole plan. He had some old grudge with the victim, Shiva,’ said Vikramjit Singh.
The juvenile had planned the whole thing by seeking help from two of his neighbourhood friends, Varun and Parth. ‘However, it is still to be known from where they had acquired the gun by which Shiva was allegedly shot dead,’ Singh added.
