Class 10 student gang-raped in Sangam Vihar

A class 10th student was allegedly gang-raped by five men in south-east Delhi’s Sangam Vihar area when she went to her friend’s house. All the accused have been arrested, police said on Monday.

According to the police, the victim went to the residence of her friend in L-block in Sangam Vihar and her friend who is 17-year-old girl took her to a nearby doctor’s clinic. Initially the girl refused to accompany her but when she forced her, she agreed to accompany her to the clinic.

Instead of going to the clinic, victim’s friend took her to someone’s residence and told the victim that the house is of her friend. 

When the victim asked her the reason of visiting a friend’s house before visting a doctor, she told her that she wants to change her clothes.

In the mean time, her friend went inside the bathroom pretending that she is changing the clothes. Meanwhile, five men made a friendly entry at the residence and took turns to rape her. After gang-raping her, the accused asked her to leave the house. She then rushed to her parents and narrated the incident who later approached the police station.
