CJM accused of wife’s murder transferred

Nearly two months after he was booked for his wife’s alleged murder over dowry, Gurgaon chief judicial magistrate Ravneet Garg has been transferred to Jagadhri in Haryana.

The transfer orders were issued by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Thursday, a court official said here on Friday.

Garg has been posted as Secretary, Legal Services, Jagadhri, he said.

Court officials here said that the transfer had been done on Garg’s request and that it was routine.
