City students shine in swim meet

Delhi boys shine again. This time, swimmers from Chiranjiv Bharti School — which offers the most modern, world-class infrastructure while imparting age-old values to the next generation — earned kudos at a national-level meet held in Pune.

Swimmers from the school attended the National Level Swimming Competition held at Pune from 22 November to 25 November under the aegis of Sports Authority of India where a total of 500 schools participated.

Swimmers of Chiranjiv Bharati participated in four events in the under-16 boys category and excelled in all of them. Under the guidance of coach Jai Prakash, the swimmers showed off their aquatic prowess. Nikhil Rana secured the fourth position in 50 mts butterfly as well as 50 mts freestyle event. Shiv Rana clinched the fifth position in 100 mts butterfly and fourth position in 200 mts butterfly. Principal Sangeeta Saxena congratulated the students on their grand success.
