CISF detains Azam Khan’s brother carrying live bullets

Sarfaraz Khan was carrying four live bullets that were recovered from his hand baggage during security check. The incident was reported on Thursday evening. He was travelling along with Azam Khan from Delhi to Lucknow.

According to reports, Sarfaraz Khan was intercepted by CISF security personnel at the airport terminal after they detected four live cartridges of .32 bore in his baggage during scanning. Thereafter Khan was questioned by officials for carrying prohibited ammunition to which he feigned ignorance.

However, the minister later produced his arms license after which he was allowed to proceed for his journey to Lucknow, said an official. While confirming the incident, CISF spokesperson Hemendra Singh said, ‘The minister has been allowed to travel to Lucknow after he produced his arms license. However, the bullets have been seized,’ added the official.
