Chittoor firing: Govt submits first autopsy report

The state government on Monday submitted before the Hyderabad High Court the first postmortem report of 20 people, who were killed in police firing in Chittoor on April 7. The HC was also informed that the “re-postmortem” of six of the victims was also conducted in Tamil Nadu. However, reports of the same were awaited.
A Bench of Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice P V Sanjay Kumar directed the Registrar General to instruct Osmania General Hospital to submit their report (second postmortem) before it by April 22.
