Russian-origin artist Vladimir Tretchikoff’s painting of the Chinese Girl, believed to be the world’s most reproduced print, has fetched a whopping 982,050 pounds, twice its pre-sale estimate, at an auction here. The portrait of a young Chinese girl was expected to fetch up to 5,00,000 pounds by the Auction house Bonhams.
