Seenappa Chikkrangappa dropped down the leaderboard to 16th spot with a card of two-over 74, but continued to be the top Indian at the end of the second round of the fourth Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship.
Chikka with two birdies and four bogeys was one-under 143 for two rounds.
But the best Indian performance on second day came from Manav Das, who played a two-under 70 with three birdies and an eagle on the 15th hole, to be in tied 43rd.
China’s 14-year-old Tianglang Guan leads with 14-under and five shots.
