Chettri named skipper of hockey team

New Delhi: Goalkeeper Bharat Chettri will lead the 18-member Indian hockey team for the four-nation Olympic test event in London May 2-6. Selection trials were conducted at SAI Centre, Bangalore, April 8-9, by Hockey India (HI) selectors BP Govinda and Balbir Singh alongwith government observer Harbinder Singh. The tournament will give India an opportunity to play against higher ranked teams who have also qualified for the Olympic Games.
