Cherian takes over as IndianOil Director (HR)

Verghese Cherian has assumed charge as Director (Human Resources) of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Having completed his Masters in Social Work, he joined the corporation in 1982 at IOC's Refineries Headquarters in Delhi. He has comprehensive work experience, spanning over three decades across IndianOil's refinery units, divisional headquarters and R&D centre. Prior to his elevation, Cherian headed the apex training centre of the organization, IndianOil Institute of Petroleum Management (IIPM) at Gurgaon.
