Chawla takes over as Director (Finance) of DTL

JPS Chawla, an officer of the Indian Civil Account Service (1985 batch) has taken over as Director (Finance) of Delhi Transco Limited and Delhi Power Company Limited. “Chawla has also been holding the charge of Director (Finance) of Indraprastha Power Generation Company Limited and Pragati Power Corporation Limited,” said Delhi Transco spokesperson. He is an alumni of Delhi College of Engineering where he did his BE in Mechanical Engineering. He began his career with Engineers India Limited in 1981 and later on moved to Indian Civil Account Services. He has vast experience of working with various organisations and ministries of the Union government. Before joining the Delhi power sector, he was Additional Director General with Prasaar Bharti.
