C’garh girl first among women in Delhi Judicial Service exam

Sadhika Jalan, a Chandigarh girl, has secured first position among women candidates in Delhi Judicial Service (DJS) exam. The result of the exam was declared on Wednesday evening. Her overall rank is second. Sadhika improved her rank throughout. In the preliminary exam, taken by 7,250 candidates, her rank was 38. In the main exam, in which 551 candidates appeared, she ranked 3rd. In the overall result, she secured  second position. She has done LLB (H) from Nalsar Law University,  Hyderbad.

Sadhika is the daughter of K K Jalan, a senior IAS officer of Haryana cadre. Jalan is presently the Additional Chief Secretary in government of Haryana.
