Centre approves Mumbai coastal road: Fadnavis

 Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said the Centre had approved the coastal road project for Mumbai. "Thank you @PrakashJavdekarjee for approving coastal road for Mumbai. It's a dream come true. Best gift to Mumbai by Modiji's Govt," he tweeted.

"Coastal road will decongest traffic of Mumbai and will create 91 hectares of green space. Taking Mumbai infra to next standard. Earlier, the government was talking about <g data-gr-id="17">coastal</g> road for five years. I had promised Mumbai that will get it approved in 5 months," he said. "Happy it took even lesser time. <g data-gr-id="16">Time line</g> of Mumbai coastal road clearance – draft notification by June 15, final notification by August 15," he said.
