CBSE tag to cost Rs 3 lakh

Now for re-affiliation to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Indian and the overseas schools have to pay Rs 3 lakh and 5 lakh, respectively to the CBSE.

The new guideline of the CBSE, issued in January, says the school which are in the political boundary of India and want to get affiliated to CBSE, and has submitted the application for it will have to pay the Rs 3 lakh. Foreign schools that want the affiliation of CBSE will have to pay Rs 5 lakh to CBSE Board for reconsideration. Senior official from CBSE said ‘Indian schools, for the conduction of re-inspection for verification of compliance will have to pay Rs 25,000 and and on other hand, foreign schools have to pay the Rs 50,000, to the board.’ The decision came after the governing body meeting of the board.
