CBSE declares JEE results

The results  of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2013, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), were declared on Tuesday. These are not the final results but preliminary ones to announce the names of 1.5 lakh shortlisted students from the students who appeared for the JEE main test on 7 April . Selection to other engineering colleges will be done on the basis of a cumulative score of 40 per cent of the marks a student secures in the XII Board exams and 60% of marks obtained in JEE-Main tests. JEE Advanced will be conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT).
