After hitting the headlines for making it ‘mandatory’ for schools to watch live telecast of prime minister Narendra Modi’ Teacher’s Day speech, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is again in the dock for ‘advising’ school principals to make necessary arrangements for the students to witness the Indian Mars Orbiter Mission live in their schools on Wednesday morning.
‘The Board advises schools to make necessary arrangements for the students to view the programme collectively in their classes to enable them to cherish this rare scientific event,’ the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said in a communication.
