CBSE announces dates, exams for class X and XII begin Mar 1

The board examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin from March 1 this year for both class 10 and class 12 students .
Exam for class 12 students will be from March 1 and will end on April 22 while for class 10 students the schedule will be from March 1 to March 28. For checking the date sheet the students have been advised to log into the official website of CBSE.
It has been estimated that around 13-15 lakh students will appear for the examinations. Last year a total of 1,040,368 students had appeared for class 12 board examinations and a total of 1,373,853 students for class 10 board examinations. The marks obtained in Boards is the most important criteria for admission in top universities, colleges and courses.
