Days after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) made public court orders on the Aarushi-Hemraj murder case, the main accused – Aarushi’s parents Rajesh and Nupur Talwar – have termed the information as incomplete.
The probe agency posted the documents on its website after the release of film ‘Talvar’.
In the response posted on their Facebook page, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar say the CBI has not been transparent.
“Unfortunately, if the objective of the CBI was to demonstrate its transparency, it would have been more credible had it released ALL materials in its possession, not just those that malign the Talwars,” their post reads.
The Talwar couple has also <g data-gr-id="20">accuse</g> the media of showing only the CBI’s side and the CBI of carrying a misinformation campaign.
While the CBI was officially tight-lipped on the release of the film, senior officials said judgments and orders of various courts were <g data-gr-id="19">self explanatory</g> for the public to judge.
“The Aarushi-Hemraj murder case is being discussed in public domain. To facilitate the general public, the CBI has put all important <g data-gr-id="17">courts</g> orders on its website <g data-gr-id="16">cbi</g>.nic.in. No further comments as the matter <g data-gr-id="18">is</g> sub-judice,” CBI spokesperson Devpreet Singh said.
Dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar were found guilty of killing their daughter Aarushi and domestic servant Hemraj by the Ghaziabad special court and were sentenced to life for the crimes.
