Caught at last:Delhi police nabs rapists on the run

The Delhi police said it has arrested two men in connection with the gang-rape of a 14-year-old girl on Thursday.
Accused Rohit and Gaurav, in their early 20s, were arrested on Wednesday from their house in Kapashera area in West Delhi. The accommodation from the arrests were made was reportedly rented.
‘The girl told the police that the accused lured her to an isolated place near her house and raped her on Tuesday evening. They later threatened her of dire consequences if she told anybody about the assault,’ a police official investigating the case said.
The girl managed to reach her house and told her parents about the incident, officer added. The girl’s family subsequently went to the nearby police station and lodged a complaint.
After medical tests on the teenager confirmed rape, a case under appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act have been registered against the duo.
