CAT exam to start today

The CAT Exam 2012, a ticket to the prestigious 13 IIMs and other premium B-schools, will be held between 11 October and 6 November. The result is expected to be announced on 9 January 2013. The sale of vouchers and registration went up marginally by 4 per cent this year. Also, the IIMs have witnessed a marginal increase in the number of women candidates, with 28 per cent of the registrations, as compared to 27 per cent last year. There will be 61 test centres in 36 cities across the country.
