CAT 2013 scheduled for 16 Oct to 11 Nov

Indian Institutes of Management announced the dates for the Common Admission Test 2013 (CAT 2013) on Tuesday. Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission to the prestigious IIMs and other B-schools will be conducted over a period of 20 days between 16 October to 11 November 2013.
CAT application vouchers will be available at select Axis Bank branches between 29 July to 24 September 2013 and the registration window will be open between 29 July to 26 September 2013.
'CAT is one of the most prestigious management entrance exams in the country for admission into the Indian Institutes of Management as well as other top management institutes. Getting to know the dates well in advance of the registration and testing window will enable candidates to prepare better for a successful future,' said professor Rohit Kapoor, CAT 2013 convenor. 'As always, our focus remains on conducting the test in a fair and secure manner.'
Soumitra Roy, managing director, Prometric India, which provides technical support in conduction of examination, said, 'We are pleased to share that four new examination locations will be added for CAT 2013, increasing the number of locations to forty. These new locations are at Surat, Udaipur, Trivandrum and Vijayawada. The increase in the number of locations will provide greater flexibility and ease to candidates while scheduling their appointments.'
