Capital gearing up to be shaken and stirred

The much awaited Delhi cocktail week has finally begun wherein signature cocktails will be served to the cocktail enthusiasts of Delhi-NCR. The event, organised by Elixir Coterie, which began on December 12 will be on till December 19.

The cocktail culture in India has always been vibrant and has evolved over the period of time. The celebrated event is brought first time in India in association with the renowned bars and lounges. A weeklong celebration of the cocktail craftsmanship will be taking place in more than 150 restaurants and bars across the city with a variety of tasting sessions, parties and master classes in the art of pouring the perfect concoction. Patrons can buy wrist band from these bars and lounges at Rs 599, 1099 and 5499 and avail unlimited cocktails each worth Rs 200 and 400 inclusive of taxes from a pre-selected menu of signature cocktails of the favourite participating restaurant/bar. 

The bars and lounges will cater to the demands of the cocktail enthusiasts with finest signature cocktails from the renowned international and Indian Mixologists including Hannah Van ongevalle (Belgium), Simone Caporale (London), Hannah Waters (Singapore), Antonio Lai (Hong Kong), Arijit Bose (Singapore), Hemant Pathak (New York), Andrea Fidora (Dubai), Karina Agarwal, Evgenya Prazdnik and Aanchal Kaushal (India).

The week is not just pocket friendly fun but also includes an array of activities including cocktail competition, master classes, pub crawls etc. 

The places where exquisite cocktails will be offered include PCO, Smokeys, Lodi, Beer Café, Cafe Delhi Heights, Mamagoto, Bulldogs, Vault Café, GaramDharam, Hungry Monkey, Zerruco, Barcelos, Fork You, Westin, Le Meriden, Summerhouse Café, The Backyard, Raasta, Yes Minister, Hardrock Café and others.

Delhi cocktail week is a week-long celebration of cocktail culture in India, which is introduced first time by Elixir Coterie. Elixir Coterie is a community founded in 2014 to bring together alcohol connoisseurs and raise the status of cocktails, beers and wines in Delhi NCR. It also provides mixologist sessions and customised bars, a concept designed for people who enjoy mixing drinks with their families and friends at the comfort of their homes.
