Capital city gets its third Delhi Haat at Janakpuri

The national capital got its third Dilli Haat on Sunday as Dilli Haat at Janakpuri was inaugurated in a colourful ceremony by member of Parliament Parvesh Sahib Singh. MLA Jagdish Mukhi councillor Rajni Mamtani were also present on the occasion. Rinku Dhugga, secretary (Delhi Tourism), Puneet Kumar Goel, MD and CEO and Ravi Dadhich, general manager DTTDC were also present among other dignitaries.
More spacious than the other two Dilli Haats which are at INA and Pitampura, Dilli Haat, Janakpuri is spread over a sprawling area of 9.80 acres. Speaking on the occasion, Parvesh Sahib Singh said that this new venue will be showcasing the country’s craft and cultural tradition, and will be an open air, shopper’s paradise which will be a one stop destination for art, craft, and music and food lovers. This Dilli Haat has been developed by Delhi Tourism at a cost of Rs 120 crore.
Jagdish Mukhi, MLA, said that Janakpuri, Dilli Haat is one of the finest complex in West Delhi and will be known as a cultural hub of the city shortly.
