Canteen worker electrocuted to death at HC

A 21-year-old worker died after being electrocuted by a grinding machine at a canteen in Delhi High Court on Friday morning.
Following his daily routine, Devender, who worked at the canteen, was operating the grinding machine to prepare the material for cooking.
At round 11.30, when he switched on the grinding machine he became unconscious and fell on the ground. When he was rushed to the hospital he was declared brought dead. Later, it was learnt that the electrocution caused his death. The canteen, where he was working is run by the Delhi High Court Bar Association.
The police have seized the grinding machine. Meanwhile a case of negligence against unknown persons has been registered’, informed a police officer requesting anonymity.
