The election campaign for the ensuing Delhi assembly elections concluded at 5.00 pm on Monday with road shows, public meetings, and door-to-door campaign by all major parties- the BJP, the Congress, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), the Aam Admi Party (AAP) and over 810 candidates in the fray. On Tuesday, political parties and their candidates will finalise their strategy of poll management while election commission and police are fine-tuning their strategy to ensure free and fair polling at each polling station. 'The police teams from neighbouring states have started reaching the city. We have made proper arrangement for them. They will reach at their respective polling stations by Tuesday evening,' said Vijay Dev, chief electoral officer of Delhi. He added the commission has made arrangement for web monitoring of polling in far-flung areas.
