Adulterated food and spurious medicines are a “serious threat” to people’s lives and the government will launch a campaign against such adulteration across the national Capital, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said.
Kejriwal, who launched “Mission Indradhanush Kavach” at Majnu-ka-tilla of North Delhi under which children would be vaccinated free of cost, said that government will not spare any person found involved in adulteration.
“In Delhi, there is a lot of adulteration in eatables due to which most people suffer from several diseases. Food adulteration for profit is the biggest sin and even God will not spare them. Government will now run a campaign against these persons and catch them,” he said here.
Taking a serious note of adulteration in drugs, the CM said that the government will not spare those, who are found involved in such crimes. He also promised to build houses for those living in ‘jhuggi-jhopris’, saying that government will not throw out anybody from the houses.
