CAIT demands resettlement of devastated traders

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), apex body of trading community of the country, has on Sunday demanded both Central and Uttarakhand government to chalk out a strategy to resettle the traders of Uttrakhand whose business has been destroyed by the calamity.

‘The government should constitute a special working group consisting of senior officials of the Central and state government and representatives of trade to assess the devastation and losses of the traders of Uttrakhand’, demanded CAIT secretary generalPraveen Khandelwal.

‘It is believed that the magnitude of the calamity has virtually ruined the traders in large numbers’, he added.

The CAIT has decided to seek audience with Prime Minister, FM, commerce minister, urban development minister, state CM, etc.
