Prakash Tiwari appointed NTPC Director (Ops)

New Delhi: Prakash Tiwari has taken over the charge as Director (Operations), NTPC with effect from January 31, 2018. Prior to elevation to the post of Director (Operations), he was working as ED (Operations) & was looking after all activities related to operation of NTPC power plants.
Prakash Tiwari is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from NIT Raipur. He joined NTPC as 6th batch Executive Trainee in 1981.
He has an illustrious career spanning over 37 years of outstanding contribution in management of large size plants in the area of power plant operation & maintenance and in project construction as a Professional Manager, Strategic Planner and a Business Leader. He has led several initiatives for achieving operational excellence of Plants.
