PNB discusses ideas to help economy reach $5 trillion target with its branch heads
New Delhi: Punjab National Bank's central Delhi circle organised a branch level conclave at its zonal training centre, Rajendra Place, to stimulate ideas aimed at alignment on the banking sector to help Indian economy reach $5 trillion scales in next 5 years.
The ideas and suggestions received during the conclave from the branch heads will be recommended to a higher level to prepare a road map for optimum growth of the economy. Along with the 70 branch heads of central Delhi circle, the seminar was attended by the Bank's C&MD Sunil Mehta, Zonal Manager Ram Kumar, and Circle Head Bibhu Mahapatra. In his address, Ram Kumar encouraged the participants to give ideas which are possible, practical and profitable for the society. Sunil Mehta asked the assembled house to come out with all kinds of ideas, however, small they may seem, and deliberate on the same with an open mind. The participants deliberated on the 20 topics outlined by the ministry and gave numerous ideas to align the banking sector with the national priorities.
