NTPC-Vindhyachal plans FGD for all its remaining units

Vindhyachal: Keeping in view the success in achieving clean air for its surrounding environment through the country's first ever 100 per cent Desulphurization (FGD) Plant commissioned in March 2017 for its 500 MW Unit # 13, NTPC Vindhyachal, the largest Power Plant of the Country has already planned installation of new FGD for all its units of the project. The work for the units in Stage III and IV is already under progress and is likely to be completed in December 2022. The cost of the project is approximately Rs 800 Crore and the package has been awarded to M/s. L&T. Installation of new FGD for all the units of Stage I & II is also under bidding process.
