Nissan Motor sees 98% surge in domestic sales in March

Gurugram: Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd reported a strong sales performance in March 2026, registering cumulative sales of 10,388 units.

Domestic wholesale stood at 4,408 units, marking the company’s highest monthly domestic sales in the last five years. The automaker also recorded a sharp 98 per cent growth in domestic wholesales compared to February 2026, indicating a significant surge in demand. Exports contributed 5,980 units during March.

The strong domestic momentum was aided by the rollout of customer deliveries of the all-new Nissan Gravite, which has received an encouraging response from buyers across the country.

Managing Director Saurabh Vatsa said March had been a defining month for the company, with growth reflecting positive customer response to its product portfolio. He added that the overwhelming reception to the new model reinforces Nissan’s confidence in its future growth prospects in the Indian market.
