Three ONGC personnel get President's Fire Service medals

President of India has approved the award of Fire Service medals to three ONGC Fire Services Personnel on the occasion of Republic Day 2017.

President's Fire Service Medal has been conferred upon Shri Dhananjay N Patil, DGM (FS), Assam Asset for his distinguished service in Fire Safety Operations.

He has displayed professional capabilities as an effective fire service professional committed to fire safety in all aspects of Exploration & Production operations in ONGC.

President's Fire Service Medal has been conferred upon Shri Tarsem Singh Sidhu, Assistant Fire Officer, Mehsana Asset & Shri Baccha Prasad, Chief Fireman, CBM Bokaro for their meritorious service in Fire Safety operations.

They displayed efficient and diligent working in combating major fire and explosion during Exploration & Production operations at various fields.

So far one Fire Services Executive has been awarded the prestigious "President's Fire Service Medal for Gallantry".

Two Fire Services Executives "President's Fire Service Medal for Distinguished Service and 47 Fire Personnel awarded the "Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service".

Such recognitions are very big achievements for any industrial Fire Services.

ONGC Fire Services has garnered many laurels because of the dedicated and extraordinary services provided by the Fire Services personnel.
