Industrial oils extend gain on persistent demand

Castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial extended gain at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on persistent demand from soaps and shippers industries.

While, refined palmolein dropped further owing to lower demand from retail buying.

Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseeds oil held stable in absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

In the non-edibles segment, castor seeds bold firmed up further by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,025 from Friday's close Rs 4,000 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 835 as against Rs 830 yesterday.

Linseeds oil ended unaltered at Rs 875 per 10 kg.

Moving to edible section, refined palmolein weakened further by Rs 7 per 10 kg to Rs 595 as against Rs 602 yesterday and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 970 per 10 kg.
