ICSI appoints new president and vice-president for 2018

New Delhi: CS Makarand Lele, a Fellow Member of the Institute has been elected as President of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India for the year 2018 w.e.f. January 19, 2018. While, CS Ahalada Rao V a Fellow Member of the Institute has been elected as the Vice-President.
CS Makarand Lele is a Fellow Company Secretary (FCS) and Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India since 1992. He has completed his Commerce graduation (B.Com) from Garware College of Commerce Pune and Law graduation (L.L.B) from ILS Law College Pune. He holds the Certificate of Practice of ICSI since 1993.
His expertise is in providing total business solutions. He has been consulting to various Indian and International businesses on compliances, governance, risk management, joint ventures, policies, structuring and various critical matters in corporate laws over 2 decades.
CS Ahalada Rao V is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Companies Secretaries of India. He was an Associate Member of Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, U.K. Science graduate from Osmania University, Master of Law from Osmania University and Master in Financial Management from Pondicherry University.
He further completed Certificate course on "Business Valuation and Corporate Restructuring" from Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He is currently pursing detailed Research Study on Valuation of Intangible Assets of Indian Companies.
