DVC plays major role in painting contest on energy conservation

New delhi: Bureau of Energy Efficiency under Union Ministry of Power is organising a Painting Competition on "Energy Conservation" amongst school students across the Country on the November 14, 2017.
Damodar Valley Corporation has been designated as the Nodal Agency for organising the competition in West Bengal in collaboration with the Education Department, Government of West Bengal and West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited. There were more than 1.16 Lacs participants from Class-IV to Class-IX in the primary round. On the November 14, 2017, the best 50 entries from each section will take part in the Final State-Level Competition at DVC Towers, Headquarters of Damodar Valley Corporation.
The mission of Bureau of Energy Efficiency is to "institutionalise" energy efficiency services, enable delivery mechanisms in the country and provide leadership to energy efficiency in all sectors of the country.
